On November 18th, 2024 at 6:00pm, a meeting for the Communications Department at Christian Life Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL will be held. The meeting was put together in the hopes of expanding the team. The event seeks to bring together church members who have a passion and talent for creating, such as writing, photography and video editing. The goal of this department is to reach out to the community through the use of creative media. With the ever expanding growth of digital evangelism with the rise of social media, this meeting is an attempt to gain volunteers that can help with spreading the gospel through artistic and digital means. 

Live Blog: Communications Team Recruitment Meeting A Christian Life Center

6:00 PM- The meeting opens up with the Communications Department Leader, Bradley Reyez, welcoming the attendees as they walk through the door. The room has been set up with snacks and refreshments and there is a tv showcasing a design that says “Welcome to Communications Recruitment meeting 2024.” 

6:15 PM- The attendees are eating the snacks and drinking the refreshments while socializing with the other attendees.

6:30 PM- Bradley Reyez begins the meeting by welcoming everyone again. He opened with a word of prayer, thanking God for allowing the meeting to take place and bringing everyone there safely. 

6:35- Bradley Reyez played a short video, highlighting the team’s vision. The video showcased some of the work the team has made over the past year. The video showed clips from services, easter, christmas and halloween. 

6:45 PM- After the video ended, Reyez got back up to speak. Reyez explains how the team makes content for the social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube. Reyez tells the attendees about an editing program called Capcut. He explains how that is a good editing platform. 

6:55 PM- Reyez broke the attendees into groups based on their skillset. The people who are interested in photography stayed in the common area. The ones who are interested in joining the propresenter team, went into the propresenter room. The ones that are interested in Lighting and sound went to the sound booth.

7:00 PM- The leaders of each area went over the details and equipment of each station.

7:50 PM- The meeting ends with some sign ups

At 6:00 PM, Bradley Reyez, the Communications Department leader welcomed the attendees into the recruiting meeting. They were greeted with snacks, refreshments and community. Reyez opened the meeting with prayer and then played a short video about the team’s vision. Attendees were then divided into groups based on their skillset and where they were interested to serve. The meeting ended with some sign ups.
